BUVO builds a new production hall

BUVO continues to expand so that it can continue meeting the growing demand for its products.

A lot has happened since the foundation of our company in 1980. Almost 40 years ago our adventure in the world of aluminium casting started with one employee, one casting machine and a total of 50m2 of production space.  Thanks to our eye for precision, our attention to detail and our excellent craftsmanship, the first clients managed to find us effortlessly. Two years later we already had three casting machines and employed a staff of six to meet the rising demand. Now the 24th casting machine in the BUVO history has been put into operation. With 350 colleagues and more than 70 CNC machine tools we produce 24/7 a total of 15,000,000 products a year for clients all over the world.

Due to these developments we needed more space. In 2017 a new CNC machining hall of 5000 m2 was added to our existing production facilities at the Achterdijk in Helmond. This hall offers room to the most modern machinery in the foundry industry. Products are processed and delivered meeting the highest possible specifications of well-known brands such as Audi, BMW, McLaren, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Volvo and Intergas.

Next to this, the backbone of our organization, the foundry, is continuously developing as well. More modern, efficient and sustainable machines are added to our existing machinery. In order to be able to meet the ever-growing demand and to be able to continue to expand our equipment, the organization has recently started preparing for the construction of an additional production hall. This hall will be built at the exact same location where the organization started in 1980 and is expected to be ready mid-2019.

Upon completion, the hall will provide 1,200 m2 of additional production space and the total number of built-up square meters will increase to 17,500 m2. The new hall will be equipped with the latest techniques by which heat is recovered and reused.
